Symbolic Visuals (“Symbolic Visuals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a small software studio based in Baton Rouge, LA. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, submit our contact form, or use our client portal, and how we use, share, and protect that information.

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run projects:

• Contact-form leads. When you reach out, we collect your name, email address, and the project details you choose to share.
• Client-portal account data. If you become a client, we store account details such as your name, email, company, project stages and tasks, files and brand assets, messages, and billing history.
• Payment information. Subscriptions and invoices are processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; that data is handled by the processors described below.
• Usage & device data. Like most sites, we automatically receive limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links through our analytics tooling.

• To respond to inquiries and prepare estimates or proposals.
• To deliver, maintain, and support your project and the client portal.
• To process subscriptions, invoices, and payments.
• To send transactional messages (for example, a welcome email or project updates).
• To understand how our site is used and improve it.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to protect our rights.

We rely on trusted third-party services to run our business. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function, and each maintains its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Pixieset — one-off invoicing.
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and hosting for the client portal.
• Vercel — website hosting and Vercel Analytics.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Symbolic Visuals, our clients, or others.

We use privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. This may involve cookies or similar technologies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so may affect some site features. The client portal uses cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account and project records, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

We use industry-standard safeguards, and our processors do the same, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any issue.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our site or services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
